Elizabeth Sirois is the director and provider of tutoring/homeschool consulting services for Together We Bloom Tutoring. She uses her previous extensive career experiences, of over 25 years, as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTAL) as her foundation of understanding development, gaps and challenges that students may have with new learning material. She has over 12 years working with special needs population in the Occupational Therapy field in public school settings. Additionally, Elizabeth is a veteran homeschool parent of 17 years for two children, who are now grown and in their twenties. Both children have attended undergraduate and/or graduate level programs at selected Universities around the world, to pursue their passions.
During the pandemic lockdown, Elizabeth was contacted by Cape Cod, Massachusetts homeschooled families to provide in home integrated studies, focusing on Arts, U.S. History and Earth Sciences. Fueled by a passion for mentorship and desire to help students thrive, she decided to further her educational experience by becoming a certified Professional Tutor and set out on her journey to curate innovative and creative methods of tutoring. Elizabeth remains an active member of the National Tutoring Association, maintains active licensure as a COTAL, and is dedicated to learning the latest advancements in professional tutoring. Since these early stages, Elizabeth has continued to serve both homeschool and public-school students' grades K-10th in numerous subjects. She continues to draw on her therapeutic background to adapt customized programs for each tutoring interaction, led by individualized student learning preferences and needs.
